A collection of melodic songs with most drafts created in 2016~2020. Chronologically a sister album to Ends of Nihil, its post-production was delayed due to procrastination—yet this allowed it to witness unexpected family tragedies, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Compared to the fantastical and bizarre nature of 'Ends of Nihil', 'Illusory Island' focuses more on the sentiment of the transience of life.
